Testing service for your trusses

According to BetrSichV, lifting-beams must be inspected by an expert in accordance with the intensity of use, but at least once a year (DGUV Rule 109-017.) We are happy to support you here with our Dolezych inspection service. Repairs to our lifting equipment may only be carried out at Dolezych. As a manufacturer of lifting-beams and lifting equipment, we guarantee that all necessary work is carried out correctly.

The DoLast® lifting-beams: Dolezych offers these types of crane lifting-beams

  • Rigid/adjustable lifting-beams
  • H-beams rigid/H-beams adjustable
  • Frame spreader beams and cross spreader beams
  • Container traverses
  • Mesh box lifting-beams and BigBag lifting-beams
  • Spreader supports
  • Turning lifting-beams: Our crane lifting-beams can be used to safely turn bulky loads in the crane. They are used for turning components, structures and assemblies. The load is picked up and turned using two endless polyester lifting straps, whereby you can choose the length as required.

You can find detailed information and article numbers for our DoLast® lifting-beams in our bestseller catalog (Link).

You must pay attention to this when using load spreader beams

If the lifting beam is not suspended above the load's center of gravity, the load can slip out of the sling. One-sided lifting beam suspension means: Danger! The angle of inclination of two strands of a lifting harness must always be ≤ 60°. These impermissible angles of inclination are avoided with spreader beams. If this angle is exceeded, there is imminent danger! The load on the individual strand will be greater than the total force exerted by the load.

Lifting-beams allow low lifting heights so that loads can be attached in low halls. In the case of long loads, inadmissible inclination angles of the lifting gear can be completely avoided. The load must be supported under trusses in such a way that it cannot bend excessively or individual parts can become detached from the load and fall out.

It is generally prohibited to

  1. Transport people
  2. Guide suspended loads over persons
  3. Pull or tow suspended loads at an angle
  4. Tearing loose stuck or jammed loads
  5. Suspend overloads
  6. Leave suspended loads hanging unattended
  7. Deflect slings over sharp edges
  8. Use slings as lifting slings
  9. Drop loads into slack slings
