29.01.2024 | New Dolezych Swivel Lifting Points: The Lifting Points Family is Growing

Every day, we do our best to make your work in lifting technology and load securing easier with our products. That’s why we are excited to introduce two of our latest product innovations from the lifting points family in this edition: the two swivel lifting points DLR AW8 and DoTwist.

DLR AW8

In our Autumn edition of Dolezych aktuell from 2024, we introduced our DLR product line (Dolezych Load Rings) for lifting points and swivels. The latest innovation is the swivel lifting point DLR AW8 (GK 8). It enables a flexible and secure connection between the lifting device and the load, as it can rotate in all directions (360°) and tilt vertically by 180°. The swiveling suspension bracket automatically aligns under load. With its high load capacity and robust design, the AW8 is ideal for use in demanding industrial applications. A special feature is the distinctive hexagonal base, which facilitates installation with standard open-end wrenches. This allows you to apply the correct torque from any direction. Additionally, the load capacities for the 0° and 90° lifting angles are embossed for quick on-site reading without the need to consult the operating manual. Extra marking lines make it easy to read the lifting angles of 0° and 45° (on both sides).

DoTwist Swivel Lifting Point

Also new to our range are the DoTwist swivel lifting points, which can be used for various lifting operations, including vertical lifting, tilting, and rotating. You can choose the swivel lifting point with a safety factor of 4 or 5. Made from high-strength material, the DoTwist with a safety factor of 4, for example, offers an average of 23% higher load capacity compared to grade 8 components with a safety factor of 5. This means more load capacity for users with the same thread size. Regardless of whether you choose the DoTwist with a safety factor of 4 or 5, both variants feature a high-quality bearing and corrosion protection coating (salt spray resistance) on the non-painted components, ensuring a long service life and cost savings.

Additionally, we have introduced the special DoTwist-IG swivel lifting point with an internal thread. This can be used, for example, with a bolted connection on through-holes.
