Can you give us an overview of your organization and your role in work equipment inspection?
I work for a large automotive group in Stuttgart in facility management, focusing on media supply and operating equipment. We manage around 800 pieces of equipment that require regular inspection cycles. The systems are inspected by specialist external service providers.

What challenges or problems did you face before introducing the inspection software?
Our complex legacy system was too cumbersome and impractical for our small site, especially when it came to integrating external service providers.

Why did you choose PrüfExpress?
Our equipment was already recorded in the system, and since PrüfExpress is easy to use and ideal for regular inspections, we also wanted to integrate our technical building equipment into it.

How has the introduction of the software affected your workflow and efficiency?
The software was implemented within a very short time, and the first inspections took place after just one month.

Which functions or aspects of the software have proved particularly useful?
The application is streamlined, easy to use, and reduces errors. Inspection plans can be created quickly, data quality is improved, and external hosting simplifies access for both internal and external staff.

Were you able to save time or resources thanks to the software? If so, to what extent?
Thanks to the software, we were able to save significant time and resources, as documentation is now digital and error rates have been reduced.

How easy was it to implement the software into your existing processes and systems?
The implementation went smoothly and replaced the existing systems, running in parallel and being implemented physically on site.

Did you receive any specific training or support that helped you during the introduction and use of the software?
The system was simple and self-explanatory, so no extensive training was required. Thanks to the excellent support and my own experience, I was able to train colleagues quickly. Each introduction took around 30 to 45 minutes.

What feedback have you received from other users in your organization about the software?
The initial feedback was very positive across the board, with no complaints — a clear success.

Has the quality of your equipment inspections improved since introducing the software?
The inspection quality was already high, but the documentation quality has improved significantly since the software was introduced, as errors in document storage no longer occur. For us, that is the decisive factor.

That was a lot of praise. Are there any improvements or features you would like to see in future versions of the software?

Thank you for the input — I would like to comment on your points:

Planned improvements include optimizations of existing functions, renaming the module to “Digital Checklists,” and enhancements to user management. Terminology updates and the correction of spelling errors are also being addressed. Work is underway to improve usability and design without expanding the feature set. A tool to streamline user management with single sign-on is also in planning.
