In the area of lifting equipment, for example, we have further developed our DoNova^®PowerLift textile chain. Its low weight (compared to steel chains) and high load-bearing capacity have always made it a super-efficient tool. With the new chain size 25/6 (as an intermediate size between the 12/6 and the 25/8), we now offer you a variant with a load capacity (WLL) of 3 t in a single strand. This makes it more cost-effective for users compared to the 25/8 with a WLL of 4 t. The DoNova^®PowerLift 25/6 thus replaces size 8-8, 8-10 and 8-12 chain slings. But that's not all: we are currently developing a variant with a load capacity of 10 t (breaking strength 10 kN), so that you can lift heavier loads even "lighter".

In the fall issue of Dolezych aktuell, we already reported on our textile slings from the DoTEXtreme product series. These are textile braided rope slings and grummets. These also enable simple and safe working, as they are easier to handle and considerably lighter than wire-rope grommets and lifting slings made from steel cables. The braided 12-strand fiber ropes are 15 times stronger than steel and 3 to 4 times stronger than polyester in terms of their own weight. We offer a wide range of products, including standard and customized versions, which we are happy to manufacture for you.

Robust, light & versatile

Our UHMWE-PE round sling DoUltra is the third option for lifting particularly heavy loads gently. Like all UHMWE-PE round slings, it also scores points over PES round slings thanks to its much lower dead weight. But there's more: "Thanks to the hose material, it doesn't tear during use, even though it has a very compact shape," says Iris Kletter, Textile Engineer at Dolezych. "The hose therefore has very few creases on the contact surface, especially in the lacing area. This means your load can be lifted even more safely." The label is also protected by a sleeve and the maximum working load is printed in large letters. This means that important information for safe working is always easy to see.

Simply attach safely

Our latest innovation is the DLR product range for lifting points and swivels. DLR stands for "Dolezych Load Rings" and has heralded a new era at Dolezych since the end of 2023. "Our own lifting points with our branding and quality were previously missing from our large product range. We are therefore particularly proud that many customers have switched to our new product range," says our Head of Technology & Development Tom Stromberg. "We also want to continue to develop here." In general, lifting points are always used when a connection between a load and a lifting device is required. The DLR rotating load ring was the first in our new series and is ideal when space-saving components are required. With a load capacity of up to 8 t with thread size m36 and 360° rotation, it makes safe lifting easy. Another major advantage is that a lifting swivel of up to 120° can be utilized without loss of load capacity. Some comparable lifting jacks on the market only allow this up to 90° or 110°.

Since the beginning of the year, DLR eyebolts with wrench in grade 10 have been added, which, like the DLR rotating load ring, are always in stock. In addition to the permanently integrated wrench for quick and easy installation, this lifting point also features our proven Dolezych quality. We are currently expanding the DLR range with the DLR AW8 (GK 8) lifting swivel. Only this much can be revealed: Unlike other lifting swivels in its class, it has a hexagonal base, making it even easier to apply the right torque from any direction using standard open-end wrenches. In addition, both the load capacity at 0° and 90° are embossed so that the correct load capacity can be read intuitively on site. The stop angle of 0° and 45° is also easy to read thanks to additional embossed marking lines.

From lifting technology to load securing

After the DoMess3, which has been established and popular for many years, we present the "next generation" for load securing with the DoMessPro digital pre-tensioning force indicator. The DoMessPro was developed for 50 mm lashing straps with an LC of 2,000 to 2,500 daN. Its constructive design enables easy and ergonomic handling. The pre-tensioning force indicator can be attached to the strap with minimal effort and the actual pre-tensioning force can be read off the digital display.

Another special feature is that the DoMessPro can simply remain on the lashing strap if the pre-tensioning force is still insufficient. The increasing pre-tensioning force can then be observed live, so to speak. The measuring range has also been extended compared to the DoMess3 and now has the highest display value on the market at up to 1,250 daN. "Using the DoMessPro is quick and intuitive," says Till Dersen, development engineer at Dolezych. "Users no longer have to worry that the required pre-tensioning force has not been applied. The DoMessPro offers safety and the load can be transported safely with a clear conscience.

A Strong Duo

In the latest edition of "Dolezych aktuell," we reported on our new ratchet tensioner DoQuick. It is easy and quick to use. Together with the textile lashing chain DoNova® PowerLash, it forms the perfect duo. The ergonomic handling of the textile chain combined with the quick tensioning function of the ratchet tensioner enables even faster work when properly securing loads. "I am pleased that the DoQuick is now on the market. This new tensioner generation will prove itself in many applications, and we are very excited to receive more customer feedback," said Tom Stromberg.
