Lashing-nets.

Dolezych lashing-nets are webbing nets that can be combined with other components such as ratchets and quick-release fasteners to ensure simple and safe load-securing in trucks, cars, vans, on flatbeds or trailers. The lashing-nets are manufactured in accordance with VDI 2700 Sheet 3.3 and meet the requirements of DIN EN 12195 ff. Positive and non-positive load-securing as well as a combination of both methods are possible. However, the main application is form-fit direct lashing. Forces occurring during the journey (load starts to move) are absorbed by the net and the lashing equipment. You can either buy lashing-nets directly from the Dolezych store or ask our experts for advice on DoKEP® nets.

Choosing the right lashing-nets: What you need to consider

There are a few things to consider when choosing DoKEP® lashing-nets. We have a guide for you on how to find the right net in 5 steps.

Five steps to the right net

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to choose the right net, which is why we have tailored our DoKEP® lashing-nets precisely to the different vehicle classes. What exactly does that mean? The gross vehicle weight ratings (GVW) for the individual vehicle classes are specified and can be found in the vehicle documents. The maximum load capacity of the lashing points is always matched to these GVWs and is therefore also specified and known. The securing capacity of our nets and tensioning elements are designed for these maximum vehicle loads and are therefore always suitable.

Example for selecting and dimensioning the right lashing-net:

Your vehicle is a panel van with a normal wheelbase and a GVW of 3.5 t.

  1. Choose the right lashing-net for your vehicle type and its maximum tare weight.
  2. Do you transport small cargo items in addition to palletized general cargo? Then the DoKEP® ZK 500 type 2 combined webbing/rope net is the right choice.
  3. As you cannot always load in a form-fitting manner or carry out partial unloading, choose the version with DoVario telescopic bar.
  4. The DoKEP® main net is sufficient for the dimensions of your cargo. The optional extension net for vehicles with a long wheelbase is not required.
  5. Lashing points with an LC of 500 daN in accordance with DIN EN 75410-3 are required for your panel van with a GVW of more than 2 t and up to 5 t, please check.

The selected net has a sufficient number of fastening points and quick-release clamps that are precisely matched to the lashing points in your vehicle.

With the DoKEP® 500K Type 2, you have chosen the right lashing-net for your panel van with a GVW of 2 t to 5 t. You can use it to secure the entire payload. Please always observe the operating instructions for the net!

The DoKEP® lashing-nets in type 1 and 2 secure up to 500 kg load weight and are perfectly designed for use in cars and on trailers. Integrated quick-release clamps ensure easy lashing in the vehicle. The tensioners have no hooks, so they can be used universally in all vehicles. The net is infinitely adjustable thanks to a new loop technology.

The DoKEP® lashing-nets for cars and vans in accordance with VDI 2700 Sheet 3.3 & EN 12195-2 secure loads weighing up to 500 kg. All crossing points of the straps are sewn with defined seam bars. This creates a stable connection that can withstand loads in all directions.

DoKEP® lashing-nets for trucks secure loads weighing up to 5,000 kg, depending on the net. The robust webbing net made of 35 mm wide webbing is particularly durable. The nets are tensioned in the lashing points with eight quick-release clamps. With the additionally available extension nets, they can be extended to a length of up to 6,260 mm. The eyelet bar, which is also available as an option, provides additional securing as an "end wall".

How should the lashing-nets be used?

Lashing-nets should mainly be used as form-fit direct lashing. The webbing net is placed over the load to be secured and tensioned diagonally or at an angle using suitable lashing equipment/quick-release tensioners. Forces occurring during the journey (load starts to move) are absorbed by the net meshes and the lashing equipment (load is held back).

When selecting the right lashing-net, the size of the load and the mesh size of the lashing-net also play a role. Both should be matched to each other.
