Accessories for rope-slings.

By choosing the right thimbles and hooks for rope-slings, you can adapt your rope-sling or rope slings to your requirements. Different accessories for rope-slings are suitable depending on your circumstances. In the Dolezych store, you can buy hooks for rope-slings and thimbles for rope-slings such as eye hooks, S-hooks, various thimbles and stainless steel accessories.

Eye hooks

As the name suggests, eye hooks have an eye at the end where the hook is connected to the rope. The eye hooks with safety latch are available from Dolezych in different versions, e.g. SIKA hooks as a very narrow version or as eye hooks made of stainless steel.

S-hooks

The S-shaped hooks in accordance with DIN EN 1677 and with CE marking (Link) of grade 8 and grade 10 are available in a long and short version and in a closed or open variant. The closed eyelets are not welded, but only bent. The S-hooks are available without a safety latch or with a forged latch.

Caution: Hooks without a safety catch can endanger the slinger as they can unintentionally unhook when the rope is unloaded.

Pipe hooks/pipe transport hooks with or without PU corner protection

The pipe hooks are suitable for lifting and transporting pipes. A PU fitting or corner protection ensures that the pipe ends are not damaged and is particularly suitable for surface-sensitive pipes.

Thimbles for rope-slings

Dolezych offers you the following rope thimbles:

• Galvanized thimbles according to DIN 3090, DIN 65457 and 6899 B
• Galvanized special thimbles with particularly large clear width
• Heavy duty thimbles
• Full thimbles DIN 3091
• Steel container thimbles, hot-dip galvanized
• Stainless steel thimbles, material 1.4401

Important: According to European standards, steel thimbles should only be used for lifting applications. For mechanical applications, the use of shaped steel thimbles in accordance with DIN 3090 is recommended.
