Lanyards.

In PPE, lanyards are the connecting element between the harness and the anchor point. Dolezych also offers rotating fall arresters, retractable type fall arresters and rescue and abseiling equipment for your complete solution in the field of personal fall protection equipment.

Lanyard according to EN 354 and EN 355

The lanyard is used between the safety harness and the anchorage device, e.g. an anchorage point. Dolezych lanyards have several advantages:

Lanyard with energy absorber: The energy absorber ensures that you are cushioned in the event of a fall and do not experience the impact shock from the fall as strongly.

Single-fall lanyards: They are suitable for assembly and service work. The single-leg versions of the lanyards are perfect for applications such as aerial work platforms or scaffolding. At Dolezych, they are available in versions with flexible webbing and with kernmantle rope.

2-strand lanyards: These are also known as Y lanyards. The name comes from the three end connections, which look similar to the letter Y. One of the end connections is connected to the harness, the other two to the anchorage device. This means that with the Y energy absorber, e.g. when working on ladders without arresters, one point can always remain on the anchorage device to guarantee your safety.

Guided type fall arresters according to EN 353-2

Falls happen when working at height. In order to arrest the fall as safely as possible in this situation, Dolezych offers you a continuous fall arrester. As the name suggests, they simply move along with the rope during the ascent, allowing you to work undisturbed at height. If you fall, the fall arrester blocks so that you are quickly stopped. Dolezych fall arresters are characterized by their smooth running on the rope, high impact absorption and the option of using them above the edge.

Fall arresters according to EN 360

Fall arresters are part of a fall arrest system and ensure your safety in the event of a fall when working at height. The retractable type fall arrester catches you by braking automatically and thus ensures optimum protection with the blocking function. It also reduces the impact forces acting on your body in the event of a fall. The high-strength polymer housing also has a viewing window to make the mandatory annual inspection as easy as possible.

You can easily request other fall arresters (e.g. with encapsulated brake, aramid rope, aluminum housing or stainless steel rope) from us. Fall arresters for horizontal use are also available.

Abseiling and rescue equipment in accordance with EN 341 and EN 1496

In the event of a fall, a descender and rescue device may be required. The Lift Res-Q device from Dolezych, with or without a lifting function, helps quickly in such situations so that the person who has fallen can be safely lifted or roped down. People can be pulled up using the hand wheel if the rescue device has a lifting function. The descender device made of high-strength steel and aluminum is also characterized by its simple and intuitive operation. Two centrifugal brakes ensure additional safety during the rescue.
