Lashing-straps with ratchet.
Ratchet lashing-straps are available from Dolezych from a strap width of 25 mm. The range extends from narrow ratchet straps for securing small and light loads to heavy-duty lashing-straps. Ratchet lashing-straps are an absolute standard in load-securing and an integral part of many load-securing solutions. Consisting of a webbing strap made of synthetic fibers, the ratchet and, in the case of 2-part systems, an end fitting on each side, the straps are available in a wide range of sizes and specifications. Dolezych supplies you with different types of ratchets for the respective application. In the Dolezych store, you can buy lashing-straps with ratchets or get advice from our experts on the subject of load-securing.

Types of ratchet tensioning straps
Ratchets help you to tension and secure the lashing-strap by operating the ratchet lever. There are different types of ratchet lashing-straps that are designed for different purposes:
- Two-piece lashing-straps with ratchet and hook
- One-piece lashing-straps with ratchet
- Heavy-duty lashing-straps
- Lashing-straps for internal lashing
Lashing-straps with ratchet for all load-securing methods
One-piece ratchet lashing-straps are also suitable for strapping, even if clamp lock lashing-straps are often used for this. The two-part version is suitable for direct lashing and tie-down lashing.
Types of ratchets at Dolezych
- Standard pressure ratchet
- DoMulti long lever pull ratchet
- Gear ratchet
- DoRapid quick-release ratchet
- Do2Step long-lever pull ratchet
The standard for your lashing task
The standard pressure ratchets from Dolezych are suitable for your simple load-securing requirements and are the standard in everyday load-securing. The tried and tested ratchets can be operated by pressing the ratchet lever and are therefore more suitable for light to medium-heavy loads. In comparison, long-lever ratchets are mainly used for heavier loads.
Lashing-straps with DoMulti® long-lever tension ratchet: particularly ergonomic working
DoMulti® long-lever tension ratchets have a particularly stable ratchet handle and a low overall height. Compared to the push ratchet, pull ratchets achieve more than double the pre-tensioning force value (up to 1,000 daN) with the same manual force. This is achieved by the longer ratchet lever, the principle of "pulling instead of pushing" and the high transmission ratio (20 instead of 11 ratchet teeth).
Result: The same load can be secured with fewer tension belts!
Transmission pull ratchet: The specialist for securing heavy loads
Transmission pull ratchets are mainly used in load-securing for tie-down lashing. They have a special gear system that enables the efficient transmission of tensile force. This is crucial for securing heavy loads securely and firmly and preventing them from slipping or loosening during transportation. These transmission pull ratchets are essential in applications where securing cargo is of paramount importance.
Save time with the quick-release ratchet: our DoRapid lashing-straps
The lashing-straps with the DoRapid quick-release ratchet save you time during frequent loading and unloading operations. Frequent loading and unloading means that the driver has to thread the webbing into the ratchet, tighten it, release the ratchet when unloading and, if necessary, remove the webbing from the ratchet again. This takes a lot of time with several lashing-straps and many loading and unloading processes.
Our solution: The DoRapid ratchet saves you valuable time when lashing:
- Closed ratchet: When the ratchet is closed, the side webbing feed is locked.
- Open the ratchet, release the lock: Opening the ratchet releases the lock on the webbing feeder and the side section can be opened.
- Inserting the strap: The webbing can be easily inserted into the open slot of the half shaft.
- Close the side panel: Once the webbing has been inserted, the side panel must be closed again.
Lock the side section, use the ratchet: Closing the hand lever locks the side section, the ratchet is ready for use.
Step by step: Simple tensioning with the Do2Step ergo pull ratchet
The normal process: With standard ratchets, the lashing-strap is released in just one step, so that the force in the strap is released immediately and completely, without checking whether the load is tipping or not. Particularly with unstable loads or loads that are at risk of tipping over, or load units that have slipped, tipped or fallen during the transport journey, hazards can arise when the lashing is released.
Our solution, the Do2Step: opening the ratchet in two steps using a separate safety slide including automatic return. Less to no danger when unloading unstable, slipping, tipping and falling loads, which can occur when the lashing is opened.
