Round-slings for light to heavy loads

The load-bearing element of a PES round-sling consists of endless, high-quality polyester fiber strands.

If you are looking for a sling with high load-bearing capacities and good handling properties due to its extremely low dead weight, then we recommend round-slings made of UHMW-PE for heavy-duty applications.

Our PES round-slings are colored in accordance with EN 1492 to make their load-bearing capacity recognizable at a glance:

Round-slings vs. lifting straps

Round-slings are particularly suitable for surface-sensitive loads. They are light, flexible and easy to handle.

Further differences:

Shape: Lifting slings are flat and made of woven webbing. They have two loops (which can be reinforced), a shackle at both ends or, in the case of webbing slings, can also be endless. You can recognize round-slings by the fact that they consist of a protective sheath and a yarn insert.

Standard: While lifting slings are manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 1492-1 standard, round-slings are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 1492-2.

Material: Dolezych manufactures woven lifting slings from polyester (PES), round-slings from polyester (PES) and from the high-performance fiber UHMW-PE, e.g. Dyneema®.

Black round-slings for stages & event technology

Are you looking for a practical way to suspend, hold or lift scenery (known as rigging)? Then the black round-slings from Dolezych are ideal.

They are lightweight, universally applicable and can be mounted quickly and securely using shackles and specially designed round-sling couplings - and they are practically invisible on stage. It is important to note that the thickness of the shackle pin can represent a sharp edge and must be selected accordingly. Special wide body shackles are available for higher load capacities.
