As a permanent member of the VDI technical committee, we are actively involved in the VDI guideline series and always keep you informed of interesting new developments. The VDI technical committee is currently processing objections and comments received regarding

VDI 2700 Sheet 8

"Test requirements for vehicle transporters and load securing equipment for securing in passenger cars and light and heavy commercial vehicles!"

A lot is also happening at DIN

For example, there is currently movement in the revision of standards 1942 (lifting straps and round slings), 12195 (lashing straps) and 818 (chains).

Simple loading and securing

Together with the BGL (Bundesverband Güterkraftverkehr Logistik und Entsorgung e.V.) and the BG Verkehr (Berufsgenossenschaft für Transport und Verkehrswirtschaft), we have created 2 auxiliary documents for users in the field of load securing. In the leaflet "Ablegereife von Zurrgurten" and the guideline "Beladung und Ladungssicherung auf dem Nutzfahrzeug" you will find important information on the subject of loading and securing based on specific use cases.
