17.07.2024 | Summer Party 2024 at Dolezych: A Day Full of Fun, Community and Soccer Fever

On July 5, we at Dolezych celebrated our annual summer party at our company premises in Dortmund. It was a day full of joy, community and unforgettable moments for all employees. A special highlight was the public screening of the European Championship quarter-final between Germany and Spain.

A warm welcome

Our Managing Director Tim Dolezych opened the party with a warm welcome speech before the European Championship game kicked off. We were particularly pleased that we were able to celebrate together with some of our international colleagues from the subsidiaries again this year. Of course, we also thanked the numerous organizers and volunteers. After all, they were the ones who made this party possible in the first place.

Soccer fever: watching the European Championship quarter-finals in a pack

A special highlight of the summer festival was watching and cheering on the European Championship quarter-final between Germany and Spain together. This year's European Championship is also taking place “at home” in Germany, which naturally increased the excitement and enthusiasm even further.

Anticipation for the match was high, as Germany had won the round of 16 against Denmark in Dortmund. In the Signal Iduna Park, still known in Dortmund as the “Westfalenstadion”, the team beat the Danes 2:0 the previous Saturday.

We watched the game on a big screen, cheered on the German team and experienced the exciting moments together. Despite the defeat against Spain, we are proud of the team's performance at the home European Championships.

Farewell to Volker Müller on his retirement

After many years of dedicated service at Dolezych, Volker Müller from the testing service is now taking his well-deserved retirement. His expertise and reliability have contributed significantly to the success of our company. We would like to thank him warmly for his many years of loyalty and wish him all the best, good health and many happy moments in the new phase of his life.

Beautifully decorated warehouse & culinary delights

The otherwise functional surroundings were transformed into a colorful and inviting festival hall. Garlands, balloons and lovingly decorated tables and benches created an atmosphere that invited people to linger and celebrate. Of course, our physical well-being was also well catered for. Various food stalls offered a wide range of food and drinks.

A DJ from our own ranks created an exuberant atmosphere, so that more and more people gathered on the dance floor.

Looking forward to next year

The summer party was a complete success and strengthened the cohesion within the Dolezych team. We are already looking forward to the next summer party, which will certainly have many highlights and surprises in store again.
