Light, compact and cost-efficient: The DoUltra round sling by Dolezych combines all three characteristics and sets new standards in the heavy load sector. Especially the easy handling, which is possible due to innovative materials such as the UHMW-PE fibers, makes it the ideal choice for challenging lifting tasks. With DoUltra, Dolezych is offering a round sling with high working load limits, a low net weight and long service life.

DoUltra offers a perfect combination of two materials which perfectly complement each other. The high-performance fiber UHMW-PE serves as the load bearing element and simultaneously accounts for the low net weight as well as the extreme breaking resistance. This guarantees maximum security for the user. The thick, diagonally woven Polyester-sheath makes up the protective element around the fiber. The DoUltra is especially long-lasting due to the higher elasticity of the sheath because the sheath is only minimally impacted during lifting. The Polyester-sheath assures tremendous robustness with simultaneously low cost. The DoUltra round sling is up to 60 % lighter than round slings made from Polyester threads thanks to the UHMW-PE high-performance fiber. It offers a light, attractive alternative for every customer, especially in the working load limit range over 10 tons.

The round-laced and diagonally elastic Polyester-sheath of the DoUltra hugs the yarn structure tightly and ensures a compact built with minimal creasing or wrinkling at the point of contact. This reduced creasing or wrinkling and the slight point of contact prevents the round sling from being squeezed, especially when used in a choker hitch or in a small crane hook. The sleeve can withstand loads more easily thanks to the elastic and flexible characteristics, meaning that it is less under tension during the lifting process. The stress and wear and tear are minimized while the service life is consequently extended.

The DoUltra is serially delivered with a labeling-cuff with an inward-facing RFID-transponder. The cuff with a velcro fastener ensures that the inward-facing label is easily accessible and equally safe-guarded. Additionally, the working load limit is simply and instantaneously recognizable due to the clearly printed-on working load limit on the outside of the cuff. The RFID-transponder allows, for example, to specifically assign inspections and their digital documentation directly to the inspected product. The transponder and its corresponding information can be scanned and edited easily with a device with NFC-capability, for example a smartphone.
