Founded in 1935, our family-run company has grown into a global leader in rope, lifting, rigging, and load securing technology.

The foundation was laid by Franz Dolezych with the production of wire ropes and slings. Over the years, the product range expanded to include other load securing and lifting equipment, such as lashing straps, chains, round slings, and lifting straps. In recent years, we’ve also introduced cutting-edge high-performance materials that are considerably stronger than steel by weight. In addition to our product range, we offer expert seminars and in-house testing and maintenance services.Digital products and software solutions round off our portfolio. Thanks to our innovation-driven mindset, our product range has grown immensely—and is now truly one of a kind in the industry.

We've been based at the Dortmund harbor for over 70 years. Under the leadership of Udo and Tim Dolezych—second and third generation—we've evolved into a globally operating manufacturer with 650 employees across eight countries. Around 250 team members are based at our Dortmund headquarters, which is also home to our central R&D department.

Our forward-thinking approach is also reflected in our visuals—highlighted by the redesign of our logo and website in 2022. Numerous patents underline our expertise and inventive spirit.

True to our mission, “a new solution every day,” we’re constantly moving forward. Dolezych plays an active role in both national and international standardization bodies, helping to shape the future of industry norms. Our in-house research and development team ensures our offerings evolve continuously to meet our customers’ changing needs and expectations.
