Load-securing is regulated by law in Germany

According to road traffic regulations, your load must be secured in such a way that the respective securing and/or restraining forces are always greater than the resulting acceleration or deceleration forces - for example when starting off, braking and cornering. According to the law, everyone involved in loading and transportation is responsible for proper load securing. If the police or the federal office for logistics and mobility detect inadequate load-securing, you could face fines, points in the central traffic register and financial penalties, and even a prison sentence in the event of personal injury.

Lashing-straps

Lashing-straps consist of a sturdy webbing strap that is securely fastened with a buckle (e.g. a buckle or ratchet). Two-part lashing-straps also have hooks. You can use Dolezych lashing-straps for transporting palletized goods and furniture, for example.

Lashing-chains

A lashing chain is a load securing device consisting of a tensioning element and a chain with or without connecting elements. Lashing chains are a particularly stable and robust load securing device, which is why you should use them for the transportation of heavy goods such as building materials and machinery. Lashing chains are mainly used for and diagonal lashing of heavy loads and sometimes also for tie-down lashing, but only with edge protectors.

Lashing-ropes

Lashing wire ropes in accordance with DIN EN 12195-4 are another option for perfect load securing. You can use lashing ropes to secure loads in freight transport. They are ideal for compressible loads, such as construction steel mats and for securing heavy loads.

Load-securing-nets

Some loads, such as cardboard boxes, octatainers, octabins or big bags, cannot be secured with lashing straps, ropes or chains. You use a load securing net for these goods. Our lashing nets are a variant of load securing nets. A lashing net consists of a webbing net and other components, such as ratchets and quick-release fasteners.
