Times are CHAINging
DoNova®: The textile chain.
Easier lifting, easier securing with the DoNova® textile chain.
Working safely has never been so easy.
The DoNova® textile chain consists of chain links made from several layers of webbing with the high-performance fiber Dyneema®. This creates unique advantages, because DoNova® is just as tear-resistant as a high-strength steel chain, but weighs up to 85% less. With DoNova®, the Dyneema® webbing is interlaced and sewn in a so-called Möbius ring. Measured by weight, Dyneema® is 15 times stronger than quality steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers.
The Idea
“Replace heavy steel chains with lightweight
high-tech textile chains.”

DoNova®PowerLash.
The patented design creates unique advantages, because the DoNova® is just as tear-resistant as a high-strength steel chain, but weighs up to 85% less. The DoNova®PowerLash is used wherever loads need to be secured quickly and efficiently.
The idea behind DoNova®: Innovation through lightness
- The DoNova® textile chain revolutionizes load transport by replacing heavy steel chains with lightweight high-tech textile chains. Despite its low weight, it impresses with maximum stability, safety, and flexibility.
- Like its steel counterpart, the DoNova® is also made up of individual chain links.
- Unique: Each chain link consists of multiple layers of high-strength webbing, which are laid in a so-called Möbius ring and then precisely stitched together.
- Thanks to this special construction, the “start” of the webbing lies on the inside and the “end” on the outside – ensuring optimal load distribution and maximum strength.
- The webbing used is made of the high-performance fiber Dyneema® (HMPE), which is regarded as one of the strongest fibers in the world.
- The chain is manufactured in Dortmund. This ensures consistent quality “Made in Germany” that meets the highest safety standards.

Heavy-duty load securing made easy
The DoNova®PowerLash lashing chain easily competes with high-strength steel chains up to grade 12 and nominal sizes up to 16 mm. Its extremely low weight ensures easy handling of heavy-duty load securing and enables even significantly longer lashing chains — for example with 20 m of usable length or more — to be operated by just one person.

Structure of the Lashing Chain
The Tensioning Element
- DoRa The ratchet load binder with telescopic principle
- DoQuick The ratchet load binder with quick-tensioning function and swivel eye for even faster work without twisted chains
- Webbing Tensioner The alternative if you do not want to use ratchet load binders
The Shortening Hooks
For our ratchet load binders, we have designed special shortening hooks for connection with the textile chain. These provide the best possible protection for the chain link through a flat contact surface. Additionally, shortenings can be carried out very quickly and easily.
The End Fitting
For our ratchet load binders, we have designed special shortening hooks for connection with the textile chain. These provide the best possible protection for the chain link through a flat contact surface. Additionally, shortenings can be carried out very quickly and easily.
Special DoNova® clevis hooks for all variants for the lowest weight and easiest application. If you require a different end hook, there is the possibility of connecting various eye hooks with our coupling link.

The DoNova® lashing-chain
for heavy load securing in the offshore sector

The DoNova® lashing-chain
as a special system with Dyneema® lashing strap

The DoNova® lashing-chain
with DoRa ratchet load tensioner
Use with the DoRa ratchet load tensioner has proven itself many times over. The DoRa can be combined with special hooks that have a hook support optimized for the DoNova®. This extremely compact and lightweight tensioning element has a very long tensioning path. This means that it can also be used where space is limited and avoids the time-consuming re-tensioning that is often necessary with conventional tensioners.

The DoNova® lashing-chain
with DoQuick ratchet load tensioner
Our latest generation of ratchet load tensioners, the DoQuick, finds the perfect partner in the textile chain. The combination of the textile chain with the “fastest ratchet load tensioner in the world” makes your work even easier and faster. Thanks to the DoQuick's innovative anti-unscrewing device, it is no longer possible to overtighten the threaded rods. The innovative system also saves you time and energy, so that your load is secured more quickly.

DoNova® lashing-chain
with a lashing-strap as tensioning element
The DoNova® PowerLash System 25/8 with LC 10,000 daN can be used as a tensioning element in conjunction with the appropriate lashing-strap. With this combination, the LC of the tensioning elements used (straight pull or strapping) must be matched to the LC of the textile chain. The hooks of the lashing- strap are hooked into the respective chain element.

The DoNova®lashing-chain
as a head sling for direct lashing
Loads that have no fastening points can be efficiently secured by direct lashing. It is secured with a sling that runs over the edges. The DoNova® PowerLash (25/8 and 30/8) can also be used for this application without any problems.
Take a look at the advantages of our textile lashing-chain.

Lifting has never been this easy
The DoNova®PowerLift lifting chain easily takes on high-strength steel chains up to grade 12 and nominal sizes up to 18 mm. The DoNova® PowerLift has similar performance characteristics to comparable steel systems. With the textile lifting chain, the focus is on the protection of the loads in addition to the sensationally easy handling. The soft webbing chain causes no damage or scratches to sensitive loads or delicate surfaces. For asymmetrical loads, the DoNova® PowerLift can also be shortened very easily and quickly using high-strength shackles or shortening hooks.
Structure of the lashing chain
- DoNova®PowerLift combines our textile chain DoNova® as well as components from our DoKett10 (Grade 100) product portfolio.
- Our DoNova®PowerLift is manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 1492-1.
- We have developed various components for the DoNova® so that you can work even more ergonomically and easily.
